Salads should never be missing at our table, so we do not get bored we advise you to vary the salad sauces that we use as dressing.

Salads can sometimes be boring and that is why we stop consuming them.

We must always include the salads in our diet as it is one of the best options to consume raw vegetables that is so advisable for our health.

To dress our salads we use salad sauces, with these sauces we can give a different touch to our salads.

Of course in the market we can find a great variety of prepared salad sauces but it is always better to make them at home the moment we go to consume them.

We offer some recipes for salad sauces that are prepared in a moment and that will help us to enjoy more of our salads.

Italian Salad Dressing Recipe


  • ¾ cup of olive oil.
  • ¼ cup of vinegar.
  • 2 tablespoons of water.
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic.
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar.
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt.
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper.
  • 1 teaspoon grated Parmesan cheese.


  • Mix well all the ingredients.
  • Put in a bowl and let stand at least one hour.
  • Before putting in the salad stir well all the mixture.
  • If we have enough we can keep it in the fridge.

Greek salad dressing recipe


  • ½ cup of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
  • 2 garlic cloves finely chopped.
  • A little bit of salt.
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of Dijon mustard.
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar.
  • 5 tablespoons red wine vinegar.
  • ½ teaspoon of basil,
  • ¼ teaspoon of oregano.


  • Mix well all the ingredients.
  • Let it rest so that the flavors are mixed and shake well before tossing into the salad.
  • This sauce can make it more creamy if we beat all the ingredients. We must put everything in the glass of the mixer except the oil.
  • When all the ingredients are well beaten we add the oil little by little until getting the mixture is creamy.
  • We keep it in the fridge.

Honey and Mustard Salad Sauce


  • 1 clove garlic well chopped.
  • 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard.
  • 2 teaspoons of honey.
  • 3 tablespoons of white wine vinegar.
  • 100 ml of olive oil.
  • Salt and black pepper.


  • Mix well all ingredients and ready to season our salad.
